Bettina has been involved with supporting strong Conservative candidates in Alberta for well over 14 years as a campaign volunteer, with roles ranging from office work, calling, and door-knocking. In parallel to her continued support of campaigns, Bettina also sits on boards to share her passion of good governance with local companies. Some of the boards she has served on are Calgary Co-Op (past Chair of the Governance Committee), Piikani Investment Corporation-a Treaty 7 First Nation based in Southern Alberta, Exaltexx Inc., an oilfield chemicals company based in Alberta, with a parent company in the US, and Partners-in-Health, a Toronto-based non-profit that builds high-grade hospitals in third world countries.

Bettina holds the Certified Professional Accountant (CPA-CMA) designation, is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors with an ICD.D and received an MBA from Queen's University.
She likes to hike the beautiful Rockies, read and spend quality time with her husband Thomas who works in oil and gas, her three children-who have experienced home schooling and her dog Ella.
Bettina is now seeking the nomination for the UCP in Calgary-Currie because she believes strongly that Alberta can earn back its prosperity with the right governance, which is what Jason Kenney will bring.
